Eddington
Ari Aster’s COVID-era small-town meltdown, grounded, mean, and slowly curdling into paranoia, misinformation, and sudden violence. Recent history, stripped of comfort.

The Life of Chuck
Mike Flanagan’s quietly cosmic Stephen King adaptation, told in reverse, turning an ordinary life into something expansive, emotional, and unexpectedly profound.

Pre-ordered as soon as I got the email. So excited. I’ve only watched four of the films.

The BBY 2 episodes of Andor are excellent. The social commentary alone is horrific, yet inspiring, and somehow hopeful.

Great article. Many people confuse the energy use of AI with NFTs due to the complexities of blockchain technology, which I need to refresh myself on. There is an environmental impact to consider, but if we’re using it to detect cancer as opposed to stealing art, I’m for it.

Just watched the latest Last of Us episode—absolutely stunning. Kaitlyn Dever delivers a gut-punch of a performance. Raw, emotional, unforgettable. One of the best episodes yet.

I’ve been reflecting on the latest season of Black Mirror, and overall, I really enjoyed it. Even the weaker episodes had something to offer. There were more throwbacks than before, with connective threads that kept the show’s essence intact while telling new stories.

Catching Moon Hooch in Pittsburgh was a great experience—their energy is infectious, and their sound filled the space in a really cool way. It’s always fun seeing a band that clearly loves what they’re doing. (Yes, they’re serenading a tree.)

I love Last Jedi. Is it perfect? Not at all. It has goofy moments, yet it delivers some fascinating subversions in the saga. It takes risks, challenges expectations, and dives into thought-provoking themes (failure, legacy, letting go of the past), there’s something genuinely compelling at its core.
