Too many children have been let down by a broken SEND system for far too long but I genuinely believe that has begun to change today as the Govt publishes its SEND reform proposals.

This government is investing in important rail infrastructure, like the East-West Rail.

The Prime Minister agreed with me that UEA would be an excellent candidate for more dental school places. I supported the petition calling for more responsible firework use, signed by 650 people in Norwich North. Asked the Leader of the House to join me in celebrating 170 years of YMCA Norfolk this year, and make time for a debate on how best to support vulnerable young people to access safe, secure and affordable housing.

Many residents contacted me about the situation at the Manor Park Estate in Sprowston as Atlantic Avenue had not been gritted. This week I’ve been in touch with the housing developers and Norfolk County Council again to try and resolve this issue. I’ve also been sharing my petition urging Norfolk County Council to adopt the roads on and around the estate as a matter of urgency with local people. I led last night’s debate on how the UK can support women and girls there.
As we welcome a new year, I want to thank everyone who’s worked so hard for our community. I'll keep pushing for practical progress in the year ahead and look forward to what we can achieve in 2026!

145 spoken contributions in Parliament. In Westminster my number one priority has been standing up for Norwich North and the issues you care about.
2025 has been a year of hard work and real progress for Norwich. Thank you to everyone who has gotten in touch with me, attended my events, shared your work with me, or welcomed me at your business or organisation.

Today, I welcomed the Prime Minister and Transport Secretary to Norwich.
Fantastic news that the Labour govt is investing £46 million in Norfolk to improve local bus services and extending the £3 bus fare cap. Making a real difference for bus users.
Alice stood outside the Red Balloon Learning Centre Norwich, with the Head.
It was great to visit Red Balloon last week, and answer some of the year 11's questions on how Parliament works and what I've been doing in the constituency.
Red Balloon are a great asset to the local area, supporting many young people. Thank you for having me, and all your great questions!
I recently met with local leaders, where we discussed sustainability and how to protect our environment. I'm pleased the Leader of the House joined me in thanking groups like Nelsonspirit for their important work in this area.
