Something should stay in the deep forever.
Today I want to show to a junior: “How to expose a CDS as oData”.
It’s hurting what are the first pages from Google.
It’s difficult for a junior to find a good and updated blog

Yes, it makes sense 🤝
Nope, I don’t agree here. Maybe it makes sense for large corporations, but I wouldn’t recommend creating a new global account just for production. In most cases, a separate subaccount is more than enough.

A community user complains Tuesday because the link is not available anymore.
The end ( 😂 )

Do you use 4 spaces with 2 or 3 sub accounts ?
13.04.2025 11:42 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Interesting. We were talking with my colleagues about pre-prod. Most of our clients just have two systems (D/Q and P S4HC) since they’re medium-sized, not big comp.
Also, Im not sure I want them to pay for all services for 4 subaccounts. I admit that sometimes I even propose a 2-tier setup, not 3.
For that reason, we need to ask for some tools from SAP Free!!!
And not only if you are paying S4HC and not only if you pay Joule!
It's on SAP interest that developers can build a good code for migration (even in ECC)
:O that's hurt
12.04.2025 22:11 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It does not seem bad.
12.04.2025 22:10 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I was thinking exactly that!
Without build a pipeline for each environments but just transport it
Our team wants to have a standard revisioning process for all in BTP (it’s about time!)
This is the proposal of a colleague of mine.
I still not sure is the best approach . I would introduce the SAP cloud transport manager.
What do you think ?

Hey Anne!
Thank you for all your work.
I'm not criticizing the work of the moderators.
I’m just curious about what people gain or think when writing certain blog posts.
Mine is about the root idea of the posting.
hahahah
I still don't understand why.
I want to know the motivation of those blogs.
I was not sure how to approach this, but thank you, and you are right. I should just report it.

Define "only they can support it".
Because I am a consulting firm and I build "proprietary" extensions, but the code is in the customer environment, and if they have the knowledge they can modify it
This morning I spent little bit of time scrolling the sap community and sometimes I don't understand why to post:

What is this and why?

I just answered and help the first user from reddit :D

#7 The description helps. You can find the view from SE11 as well and you will find the CDS

With the name of the header you search the service in the SEGW if it's a service.
From here, it can be a different process all the time.
In this case, I see the entity Item, double-click and use the ABAP Structure

"No I want to try" - J
"Ok" - Sebastiano
Practically in the Header information is the name of the father or main service and, in the payload you see the name of the entity itself
