Right. The report, for instance, is not "anonymous" even though we, the public, do not get to know the accuser's name. The FBI agent knew it, confirmed it, and therefore, the allegation is not something made up from the internet. It is connected to a real person who discussed it. Step one.

This is consistent with the pattern of behavior described by Virginia Giuffre in her book. Two different sources saying the same thing makes each more credible, in general.
