I know. I was the person on that stage with the least tenure, so I’m happy that I still had a great show. Just kind of sad to hear it was that close because I had two friends bail last minute :/

so what the extraterrestrial/ extradimensional races will do, is they will take the baby while it is still a foetus and alter the DNA to make it more pleasing to the soul to fit into. I want to eventually write an essay on “Dancing Monkey Syndrome”, because I know it’s something a lot of comics from any minority experience.

This is all to say: Putting your truest self out there when you’re going through so many changes is weird!! But I’m glad I’m doing it, because I think I’m the funniest I’ve ever been.

I tread the fine line between performing honestly, and becoming what I call “The Dancing Monkey” when I perform for cis audiences. There are jokes I’ll never tell them, because their laughs would feel hateful and mocking. To tell those jokes would feel like I’m wearing a “laugh at the tranny” sign.
