Even the texture was made in that 12 hour period since opening blender, and I also had a few hours of a break in there! So like, seriously. If you've ever wanted to learn how to make low poly models PLEAAAAASE do yourself a favour and watch Crashsune's tutorial videos!

The only thing I did ahead of time was make a mockup like Love-chan's of my OC drawn over the original love-chan turn around. (Original turn around this is drawn over ALSO by @crashsune.bsky.social ) And that was done literal weeks before.

That said, I'm looking forward to finally watching the video on animating the face, because like. I just am!

... Anyway I got distracted. Point is: I made the above quoted model after about 12 hours from the first time I opened blender, and you can too with her tutorials.

I feel like weight painting and getting the ponytail to move, but like, not so much that the low poly is out of tone with the animation, those two are going to be the hard parts. I don't 100% understand weight painting, and I'm not yet sure the tutorial even covers things like ponytails!

Unironically DEEPLY delighted to see she has an account here. I just got suggested a youtube short by her and was all "Hey, I wonder if she has a bluesky so I can more easily rec her to people" AND LO AND BEHOLD!

A drawing of my character clive. It is copy pasted side by side. One version has her wearing a pair of leggings, boots, a sleeveless turtleneck, a holder vest thing and an arm length glove on her left arm, and no cloth on the robotic right arm. The other version has a long purple poncho over the clothes and goggles on her face. Clive has short red-purple hair and pointed ears.

This week's upload is a mild re-design of Clive! It's not canon yet, but it's related to a future event! Her older design will still be relevant - this is just adding on to it. Anyway, I have ONCE AGAIN forgotten to put her face scar. D'oh!

It was a bit of an adventure to get this skeb. At first my request timed out so I figured it was just the end of it. Then about a month or so later I get a request to resend. I do and it gets accepted. Then that request times out. I decide to resend the request again and this time it gets accepted and finished.
