Of course... to move even a small piece comes with rippling and unexpected consequences between the strings unseen, attached to every card. Even if shifted ever so slightly, more than one card moves... some even twist in writhing agony. What can you do... What can you say... What can you believe... When the gods aren't even certain what is happening or why?

I wrote something today out of the blue that was itching at my brain slightly... which somehow inspired a prototype cover art for book 2 of the series I plan. I'm not sold on the title entirely. But I love how this came out.

I also wrote some stuff for the back of the book in the Alt.

90% of the "advanced" tech is with Ashler, and the other 10% is with a government division known as the "DUL-ARD"s(Doing Unaccountable Labor-Activities Redacting Data.) I haven't really written too much with Ashler. But here's one of the things the DUL-ARDs do.

An astrologist hermit, I like it. Gives a lot of breathing room for development to go many directions.

Stolas, as he appears in the Ars Goetia. It is an owl with long legs and a crown... seriously, the lore is much deeper, but this is how Stolas appears in mythology.

Interpretation is up to everyone. Especially when the mythologically first instance I came across is just this, and the most I could find about it is that it was that it was rooted in astrology, mineralogy, and herbology.

So, with a modern world in mind, he kind of hyperfixates on all three.

With a yawn, Stolas stretched, his wings shuffling and ruffling his tightly packed feathers. He hummed, "Ah... gods. It's It's ages since I felt so comfortable." Stolas commented as he watched Tycho kneel before the fireplace, prodding at logs with the iron prod. "I always hate hearing that from God's. 'Ages' could range from a week to several years for gods and demon royals." Tycho explained, Stolas smiled tiredly. "Heh, well in my case, its been..." He thought for a moment, then his face screwed up tightly as he thought harder. "Um... huh." Stolas hummed, Tycho turned his attention to the owl king. "What?" He asked standing up a bit more straight. "I think the last time I was comfortable, was when I wrapped myself in my wings, and took a nap in my chair at my desk." Stolas admitted, with a sheepish chuckle. "Gods damn..." Tycho commented quietly as he moved the fireplace cover back in place. "Ah-hah... rarely a moment to really sit around when everyone keeps shoving over trivial work that takes me barely a minute to complete." Stolas scoffed as he adjusted himself, snuggling into his wings tighter, till he was practically like a massive burrito. "Barely minutes, becomes hours on end when the paperwork stacks to the ceiling." Tycho noted, one of Stolas' hands emerged from the feathers cocoon to do a one handed shrug. "I know! Tell that to the lazy demons who pushed their work off onto my desk." Tycho tipped his head. "Why did you let them?" Stolas glowered at Tycho, "I just mean- you're the king of the Web of Fate's upkeep right?" Stolas sat up a bit, huffing. "Of course I am. But if I just sent the work back, I could have ended up sending it back to people who were actually stressed and needed a little breathing room. Plus if I did that, i'd just be as bad as them if not worse." Stolas defended himself, "But then you took on too much... and started running off to Korta's farm when you could."

Should've done this on this comment. But oh well- hindsight is 20/20

I think this has to be the trickiest prompt I've ever worked around. Last time, I added a video/music it only posted the picture of the snippet and not the song/video. Because computer stuff I don't understand completely.

But this snippet is from book 2, possibly "Mythologically Accurate" Pages.

While a council of the King and Queens debates whether the whole world should know of the existence of Gods and Demons.

As for what they're like it's a wide spectrum of Lazy to Aggressive.

As for how they're worshipped, it's mostly just aimless prayers spread and shared among them.

I could spend hours on this one. But I'll just give a quick rundown; essentially, it's a modern world, so people do pray, worship is a strong word. Gods themselves are either sticking to their former roles or embracing modernity... (cont.) 🧵

End of the week, and my brain decided randomly after hearing Feel Good inc to come up with the most random idea;

My character in 5 different art styles(based on mutliple things), and on top of that, I did two before doing my own style for reference, so my brain forgot my own art style for a minute.

I just like the idea of people so dependant on a souped-up happiness that they literally will turn violent on you if you just simply don't act happy.

Honestly, I think could make a REALLY good horror movie. (Never eeen, "Smile" but it seems like it's a one person at a time thing, not a mass crowd.)

I don't even plan to intentionally write a whole horror novel, but have written a few disquieting lines in my WIP series. Some that genuinely make me hold my breath.

However, if I were to write anything, Horror related. I'd do something like to "We Happy Few" (cont.)

I never used the word Hibernation, but... Akumu and Osore basically do trade of places entering a comatose state of hibernation. Despite their best efforts not to, hard to go against the will of the universe itself.

Depends on who there. If it's game night at the Cabin, they're playing Smash Bros. And it can go any direction... but if Tycho or Stolas wins, Drilltooth gets real salty.

If it's in Cairo. Then it's a really competitive night of all sorts of games, Murabaa & Sidra hate losing a lot.

I'm so glad they specified the color pink or any type of fish- I actually did a lot of mental gymnastics to land on Peach from Salmon based on color. Because of all the dishes my characters made, not one was a Salmon based dish, apparently.

Im so sick of angry little men with ignorant loud voices telling the rest of us how to live.

Being a special division "private investigator" often means having to go around in disguise, sneaking about squeezing information out of people. With the abilities Mo'o have, this is much easier.
(Why is PI in quotes? They only handle very specific cases.)
