Take a look, 90k spheres, 37sec to bake, runs realtime in solid view. rendered with 32gb DDR4 on an 8GB gpu. Takes less than 2ms to calculate a frame. rendered with eevee in 3.5min. 1 geometry node stack for $5 on superhive.

lender balls... 8.9 million (no-touchy) balls
All packed nicely without intersecting each other. No spheres were used in geosim. It's really nice getting that sort of hard/rigid body physics sim sorta thing, without needing to calculate any meshes

Still waiting on that sweet approval from @superhivemarket . But flipping the speed to negative values gives this cool sort of game of life as particles consume and decay based on max distance.

This one was a bit more challenging and I stress tested my Mesh Blend by proximity for the sticks geometry and look, mixing displacement from geometry to shader.
