The gameplay loop in Falcom games is something special. If you haven't played it yet I can only recommend Ys VIII, its one of the purest and most fun adventure you can experience in a game.

Thanks, I can totally see how this can be your favorite when you started the series with it. There are so many amazing elements here and although I criticize some of it, I also mostly just accept what Falcom comes up with otherwise, I would have quit the series long ago.
