I forgot to post for a while... so here's a picture of my 7800 that I streamed from on Halloween. I got it for extremely cheap listed as "parts/not working" and it works just fine with no issues... it's just a little dinged up and has some mysterious stains that won't come out...

My condolences.

A Sears Tele-Games Super Pong console resting on the floor.

Spent most of the night on stream cleaning the layers of filth off this Super Pong, I think it cleaned up pretty nicely! The battery terminals are still entirely rusted though.

Happy birthday! It was great getting to hang out at offkai!

An attempt at depicting something that happened in the Meet and Greet. Me and a friend were talking a bit further away and Kyu had an error pop up on the screen. But she was leaning forward in a way it looked like she was trying to peek at our conversation from over a fence or something #kyubart

I had a wonderful time at Offkai, it really reminded me of a few conventions I used to love before they got way too big. It was lovely meeting so many awesome people and just generally having a very chill weekend.

Brigadoon is absolutely wild, glad to see people checking it out!

Anyone ever have a dream about finding something cool, and decide to act on it? That happened to me today, so for fun I went out to see if I could find anything. I'm glad I did, because I got these for a steal. (The Mother vocal album is one of my favorites of all time)

I feel like I should have more responses to this... I used to have a lot of fun with Initial D Special Stage, the Another Century's Episode games, and the Gunslinger Girl games though.

Today I opened up my ColecoVision, looks like the issue from last night's stream was that the power switch box was pretty dirty inside. I cleaned that up, tweaked a few other things, and it's working much better now!

After a quick teardown, the Inti II looks to have some issues with the board, but I can't test it at the moment without a power supply. The base model Inti looks rough inside, but it works pretty good!

Today's haul was an interesting one... due to character limit I'll make the rundown brief.

Intellivision (complete), Intellivision II (missing cables), 2 Atari 5200 controllers and power supply, Atari 7800 controller, 2600 paddle controller, and two carts. For less than what the controllers go for.

The experimental parts are what make it interesting! I'll take an experimental and ambitious, but slightly flawed game, over a boring game with all the edges smoothed off any day.

Do people actually dislike it that much? I thought it was pretty good!
