I'm going to bet on social isolation. By all means say what you want, but don't feel compelled to need the last word. As far as we should be concerned, we got that when we decided to exit the interaction rather than pretending the trouser stain on the other end's gibberish deserved a response.

In the same way that not every ejaculation deserves a name, not every mouthbreathing right winger deserves a response. Let them stew in their own bigotry and racism. There's no victory in dunking on the too far gone.

Unfriended a friend of 20+ years bc of their Islamophobic screed they posted today. They've been doing this for almost 2 years now, but because they are friends with a large part of my social circle, I 'unfollowed' them a year ago. No more. I'm sick of tolerating 'socially acceptable racism'.
