forgot to post this here but i made a mod for Minecraft (1.21.5) that reimplements the game's OST in high quality and adds 23 new tracks by C418! some are exclusive to snowy biomes, jungles, caves, night time, rain, etc! try it out : )

31.01.2025 23:39 — 👍 2 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0If you’ve played Wilder Wild before, you’d also know that you can disable the spawning of every new mob. So yes, you can disable the Firefly mob from spawning too!
31.01.2025 17:24 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There is now a built-in resource pack that makes the Firefly mob, Firefly Bush, and Firefly particle use the original green color. This is enabled by default.
There is a new config option to allow Firefly particles to spawn from Firefly Bushes, which is disabled by default.
As of 25w05a, Fireflies in Wilder Wild can now spawn anywhere! They just require a Firefly Bush to be nearby, and have the same light conditions as the Firefly Particle did. Fireflies will swarm around the nearest Firefly Bush.
