Golden Tamaracks brighten a November afternoon.
Tamaracks, aka Larches, are conifers that have a deciduous nature. They are one of my favorite trees. A native wetland species, these trees are typically pioneers of bogs. Draining swamps is an outdated practice that destroys wetlands and waterways.
