This time of year is tough for me mentally but one of the things that keeps me going are the almond blossoms. I first visited Merced when they were in bloom after escaping a NJ blizzard. They are in no small part why I decided to come here.

Actually it might be a Great egret now that I'm thinking about the size. I'm no expert. Either way probably in the heron family.

Safety first. Red light therapy has been a fun little treat after my workout.

It's been hard for oh... the last 10 years or so to keep up with doctor appointments outside treating my bipolar. Today I finished the second half of a deep gum cleaning that I needed after 4 years of not going to the dentist. Small victories.

The biggest compliment I've ever been given for my singing was the time I sang No Rest For the Wicked at an open mic and an older lady asked me if I worshipped Satan.

Yep. It was the pick of the book club I just joined.
