I'm just tryna be cool and give a reason why there's black history month, I'm not even being hysterical, but it's up to y'all if you want to listen. Or concede in this two but argument.

And for your information my great great grandfather and mother were run away slaves and was one of the first black people to own a house in Scranton PA, it's now a landmark and my cousin made a play out of it. So please don't be ignorant and at least give a thoughtful concession.

That's gross generalization if I ever saw it—I don't use the words or the pain of my ancestors as an excuse I use it as an example, the faith that they had to hold on to after everything they've been through. Every time I felt like giving up, I remember what they went through for me to be here

Please understand that these months aren't just for attention or to make one group feel specifical, it's to spread joy and love, teaching things we should never forget. And I feel like a lot of people forget the meaning in that and that's we they are left saying "How come they get a whole month?"

Ones out, no one will care or show representation for us, we have to do that and make a place on the table for us to sit at
To prove that we're just like white folks, and straight people. To prove that we are human beings. These months are supposed to be educational and enlightening.
