During Women’s History Month, we honor the founding Flight Attendants of our Union.

These fearless women provided the foundation for AFA to fight against discrimination on the job including age, weight, race, marital status, having children, for men to have the same rights as women.

Today, we honor the start of Women’s History Month and a history-making moment: Roxanne Brown becoming the first female president of the USW. All month long, we will highlight leaders and moments that changed history — and continue to inspire our work today.

This is a lot of words that boil down to one thing. There is no strategy. There is no end goal. There is no plan. This is why there is a Constitution and why it requires a president to get Congressional authorization BEFORE going to war.
