I have some curiosity about shogi but i'm not really sure where to begin

So, update on the Tetris front, I'm able to use dt cannon as more than just my opener when the pieces allow for it. I've been trying to incorporate it into mid-game plays and I've pulled it off a few times, slowly getting more consistent!

So I've been trying to get better at doing t spins and stuff in tetris. Using this diagram of a dt cannon I've been able to consistently create this and one or two similar things but i still feel very slow at it, advice would be nice but otherwise probably practice makes perfect right?

Unfortunately because Thoth was the god of knowledge it would be appropriate to ask "Θώθ, what's this?"

Considering playing/streaming Mari0 at some point, the online multiplayer for smb1 wasn't super bad, aside from the weird physics it was pretty faithful to the original if you disable the portal guns
