If you steal an iPad from bestbuy, it likely wont ruin the next 60 years of your life. It wouldn't be great, mind you, but Nintendo doing worse than the RIAA is kinda nuts.

I mean, sure, but let's say someone that's 18-20 years old does it. now they are ruined for the next 60+ years. That's kinda screwed up, if you ask me.

To be honest, I was just happy to have an excuse to play the games again. I'd never finished 1 or 3 as a kid, nor had I played CD, so I did a run, where I played through Origins, Mania, Sonic 4 (both eps) and Sonic Generations. I still have yet to play Superstars, but I'll get there.

I dunno that I believe that anymore. I think the moves they are making are more signaling their non-belief for the future of GamePass. They lost $300,000,000 by putting COD on it, and their console sales are dire, which is where the majority of GamePass players are. I am not sure how it has a future

I agree 100%. I think a lot of people forget how hard Sony worked to recover after the PS3 launch, and Nintendo for the Wii-U, and expect a new console to turn things around for Xbox, when no groundwork has been laid.

Ah, I played it on console, so the DRM didn't effect me. I also hadn't played Sonic 3 in like 20+ years, so I couldn't tell.
I guess the replay thing kinda sucks if you get all the emeralds, but the DLC not adding much doesn't detract from the core game, I'd say. Overall, not a mess, at least to me.

I've only barely started DS2, but DS1 is quite a unique game. I 100%'d it twice. I recommend it with the * that it's not for everyone.

Try out Ghost of Tushima: Legends, even if you're not a multiplayer gamer. It didn't even look appealing to me, but it's one of my most played games of the generation.

I think they would still be like 60-40 at best with Sony - Sony invested worldwide heavily, especially starting in the PS3 generation, Xbox just didn't have that global reach.

But yeah, who knows where Xbox'd be if they hadn't gotten the disaster that is Phil Spencer in charge, but likely better
