Dillon Thieneman, Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Keionte Scott (CB/Safety hybrid), AJ Haulcy, and Bud Clark are all awesome. There’s others as well.

Biggs, regarding Braxton Jones: This is a potential win/win for both parties. The team has pressing need and Jones' market wasn't what he'd hoped because he was never 100% healthy last season. Bears get a bridge left tackle and Jones can be in a much better spot to hit free agency a year from now.

Jordan Schultz: Braxton Jones deal with the #Bears is 1-year, $5M with another $5M in incentives, per sources.

Jeremy Fowler: Left tackle Braxton Jones back to the Bears on a one-year deal worth up to $10M, per source.

Chicago has its starting option at left tackle.

Over The Cap has them right under 15M left, but that's in the range already where they will need to create more space, even if it was just to account for the rookie class and filling out the roster. I assume that'll be via a restructure or two, so I'm not sure what cap number they're working off of.

Biggs: Still multiple #Bears from last season I would expect team to bring back or strongly consider. S Elijah Hicks, OL Jordan McFadden, TE Durham Smythe are just 3. Others would not be a surprise either.

Cronin: Comp picks are out. I know this will upset some Bears fans. Despite both Ryan Poles and Falcons GM Ian Cunningham being vocal about how Chicago felt it deserved its two 3rd round comp picks for Cunningham’s departure, the league apparently doesn’t see it the same way.

Schefter: Veteran QB Case Keenum is re-signing with the Chicago Bears on a 2-year, $5.5 million deal with a max value of $8 million.

The Giants are signing former Bears LB Tremaine Edmunds, sources tell The Athletic. John Harbaugh has a new middle linebacker.

good player that can do a bit of everything in a defense. Sound tackler who can fit static two-high looks and also more creative looks. Suits Dennis Allen's defense very well.

New Bears LB Devin Bush had 125 tackles, 7 TFLs, 2 sacks, and 3 INTs last year. 2 of the INTs were a pick-6. He was graded as the 4th best LB out of 88 by PFF. He'll be 28 this upcoming season.

Ran a 4.43 40-yard dash at the combine at 234 pounds (5'11"). Drafted 10th overall by Pittsburgh in 2019.

Schefter: Former Browns LB Devin Bush reached agreement today on a 3-year, $30 million deal that includes $21 million guaranteed with the Chicago Bears, per agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Next Gen Stats: Coby Bryant allowed the 2nd-lowest passer rating among safeties in 2025 (51.4, min. 25 targets in coverage).

Bryant's 4 interceptions were tied for the 4th-most at the position.

That was my initial thought. Seems like a rotational piece that projects as a nose tackle primarily. I'm still curious if they'll add more to the DT room though so might not be a 1:1 replacement.
