Remember when multiplayer games launched with player run servers and this kind of thing never happened; the people who wanted to keep on playing the game after it "fell off" could keep on playing into perpetuity.

I get that, but isn't it purely cosmetic? I don't feel like it changed her speed at all and is just done for effect, and not even observable in first person.

But yeah, unless this game shits the bed in the last segments ... this is gonna also be an all-timer for me too!

I don't say this lightly: Resident Evil Requiem to me is the inheritor to Resident Evil 2, the first RE game I ever played; it's the RE game I've been waiting for for almost 30 years, the continuation of what made me love this series. It's perfect. I fucking love video games 🥹

I've seen a lot of people mention that - I need to go back and play Drakkenguard!

It's giving Dragon's Dogma (combat wise) so I'm deff hopeful we can get something modern like that after what I feel was a DD2 release that didn't match up to Dark Arisen

That is very true, but at the back of my mind is that the game is being made by Black Desert Online devs right? I wanted to like it so much - the combat looked so cool but when I got my hands on it I found it be all flash and no real kinetic feel.

Hoping they course corrected for the "feel" in CD

I am eager to see if Crimson Desert is GOTY material or if it was all smoke and mirrors - it's hard for me to see there being a middle ground with all the hype and expectations built up so far.

I cannot imagine a more perfect compliment of artist & series; Taro's Drakkenguard & NieR are among the works in a post Evangelion world that were not only inspired, but also understood what Eva. Honest self analysis, earnest trope inversion, & through it all real human emotion.
