one grandma was a housewife until her kids were grown, at which point she opened a women's clothing shop in her small town, until Walmart arrived and ran them out of business. The other grandma was a nurse.

my other grandpa (a nice man, but I didn't know him well and by all accounts he wasn't a great father to my dad) ran a gas station except during WWII when he was an air traffic controller in Fairbanks, Alaska. My grandma used to drive a dogsled to get groceries.

FYI KAOS doesn’t have a lot of violence/gore in terms of screen time, but it does have a few pretty intense moments of violence/gore and they aren’t always telegraphed ahead of time. Hee hee we are opposites (mangos are among my very favourite, blackberries are OK but weirdly sometimes taste a bit soapy to me — I don’t have the coriander soap thing). Though to be fair there is no fruit that I truly dislike

I’m trying to clean my damn house and I keep switching between music and podcasts and nothing is giving me the motivation I need to finish this annoying task

I have been on the reverse journey, because I have never had a good peach in Leeds but strawberries here are so nice. I realised last year that strawberries had completely replaced peaches and nectarines as my go-to delicious summer fruit
