An underrated fandom experience is having a friend you can privately complain about your least favorite ships or headcanons with so you can have your petty bitch time without ever insulting or offending anyone in the fandom, and I think more people need to learn to do this

This is exactly the same energy teens face irl. They have nowhere to go. No community. And then we wonder why their mental health is in shambles?

Tbh this seems like a very mature response. The kids are all right. 💕

Sharing this as a heads up. Let the kids have their fun—I’m happy to see the next generation creating art!—but I think we adults need to steer clear of this event, or at the very least be VERY cautious about how we engage.
