I am sorry it is comparatively expensive for its size but there seemed to be no way to force the price down for something that had to have coloured images.
Hi Will do. Have you got this one?

I am writing a book about the history of the clubs that women motorists have set up for themselves worldwide from the 1890s to the present day.
If you or your mum etc were ever in such a group anywhere in the world I would love to hear from you.

View from the side of two white mushrooms, the larger left one seemingly sheltering the smaller one on the right. They are surrounded by brown autumn leaves on the forest floor.
Merry Christmas to all! Stay close and warm, and provide shelter where you can to those who need it.

The #referee pictured is Tofiq Bakhramov (then USSR). He played a crucial role as a linesman in the WC 1966 final by allowing England’s third goal to stand even though it was not clear the ball had crossed the goal line.
Still the only referee to have named a national football stadium after him.

He reffed a big DKL game in 1921. He was pretty busy in May 1925 but not around that game. Found refs to him wearing a flat cap + dressing smartly. QED

An addition to my postcard collection featuring #referees. From the 1910s, it does a good job showing the kit refs wore and that postcards had a hand in normalising the notion of the referee as the butt end of abuse, rightly or wrongly.
