“Stakeholders and conflicts in the refunctionalisation of a railway building in the city of Villa María (Argentina)”

🔹 Cecilia Quevedo will present:
“State, housing and indigenous communities: urban transformation in Toba neighbourhood (Resistencia, Argentina)”

The workshop aims to show how state interventions, public policies and urban renewal processes are articulated in differential contexts characterised by the exclusion and social inequality of popular sectors and indigenous peoples.

Day 2 will focus on the challenges and benefits of publishing across linguistic, national, cultural, and epistemological boundaries. During roundtable sessions, editors and contributors to each book will present their work and share experiences about the process and challenges of publishing.

Nominations should be sent by the student’s department (maximum of two entries per department, one for each year) in either Word or PDF files alongside the student’s contact details post-September

The dissertation should be an excellent piece of original work and be submitted in 2023 or 2024. Latin America needs to be central to the theoretical and/or empirical focus. The awarded dissertation’s author will be featured on our website.
