I'm pretty surprised with Warlock! Ranger and Druid make sense to me because you love gardening and cats.

My mom uses the AI reader on Google Play Books to read my novel because there is a lot of advanced academic vocabulary that she doesn't understand.

I should also say that it is NOT a story about business economics, as Jade City is. And nor is it a murder mystery, like A Memory Called Empire.

These are the two cleanest comp titles for my book, The Spiral Doctrine. Like Jade City, it is a martial arts noir about (chosen) family, and like A Memory Called Empire, there is technology that preserves and weaponizes the memories of deceased people.

I just picked this up today! I haven't been this excited to pick up a book since I first read the Green Bone saga. The Teixcalaan duology sounds like my kind of philosophical scifi, where memories are embedded in artifacts poetry is central to the culture of the world.

This is my favorite SFF series that I read in 2025! I read them all twice and bought the velvet hardback. Worth every dime!
