So, Google is coming out with its own condom. I guess it sends real time data to an app on your phone (doesn't work with Apple phones) that will show you your BP and heart rate, RPMs, thrust velocities, and other data you can use to improve your performance. Comes out around Xmas 2025.

Yes, we have to start the movement at the local levels, then the city levels, then the state levels, then the federal levels. We won't get anywhere if we can't put genuinely smart and good people in office. And while we're at it, can we start teaching civics again?

Been over FIVE years since I sent a manuscript to the person who at the time was my agent. I emailed her on Friday, for the first time since September 2020. She got back to me today, asking for the full manuscript. Not some pages, but the whole book. #floored

I've also learned a lot from my time writing movies. That world is all about the elevator pitch. Something simple that is so good that you get the entire movie. Here is the pitch for Alien: "Jaws in space."

I'm not sure they're done the same way, as I haven't written one in a long time, HOWEVER, lead with what is basically the "elevator pitch". One line that defines your story. Then use ONE paragraph, a very zippy and clear paragraph to tell the prospective agent what your story is about. Then out.
