Black conservatives & those who pretend not to be black conservatives and hide under the mantle of hating both sides, use 1 and ignore 2 to argue that getting rid of AA/DEI isn’t something white conservatives are doing that hurts Black people.

Both can be true: 1) White women have been the primary beneficiaries of affirmative action programs. 2) We see a marked decrease in Black representation when AA/DEI programs are outlawed/dismantled.
