Nanette Santoro, MD, says at-home menopause tests don't share the whole picture. These tests measure follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which rises during perimenopause, but the hormone can fluctuate weekly.

JAMA study summary: Closed-loop insulin delivery in pregnant women with type 1 diabetes showed 65.4% time in pregnancy-specific glucose range vs. 50.3% with standard care. 88 women studied across 14 clinics in Canada & Australia. Mean age 32 years.

Pregnant women with type 1 #diabetes using closed-loop systems spent 3 more hours per day in target glucose range, supporting their use for improved glycemic control during pregnancy.
