On a smaller scale, on Sat. Mr M found a frog near local shops! Having seen a road casualty nearby, he didn’t want to chance leaving frog. So popped in a paper bag given by baker & released next to our small pond.

Must’ve found a friend, as we now have spawn in pond for 1st time! 🐸

Stuck in just a few inches of water, at the bottom of a deep-sided pit with a grate on top. He'd walked over the grate a few times before he noticed movement beneath it and realised what it was. Thank goodness he was able to reach them !
