How does the brain integrate artificial body extensions? Using a custom-built finger-extending exoskeleton, we show that wearable augmentations are quickly integrated into body representation, with proprioceptive space adapting to the device’s structure and function.

It's not my main focus in the short term as I am mostly working on limb-related perception but it's absolutely one of the potential developments.

This would especially make sense given the expertise of other researchers within the Multisense & body's team such as C. Lopez

I am very happy to announce that I am starting as a PI at the CRPN lab at @univ-amu.fr in the Multisense & Body's team.

I'll be focusing on how different aspects of self-body perception interact with one another while feeding from common multisensory inputs 👁️👋💪

With Henrik Ehrsson @brainself.bsky.social , Sucharit Katyal, August Hägerdal, and Xiaole Luan, we have used state-of-the-art psychophysics and computational modelling to investigate how body ownership perception arises in conscious awareness. Thread below 🧵👇!
