@magic.wizards.com needs to make sure their partners don’t do this.

I would have happily extended this for a couple hundred $$. Instead it looks awful!

Most media demands some amount of suspension of disbelief to enjoy in. But what if everything is working against that suspension of disbelief? Can the Magic of the media still be maintained?

2-2 today. Pretty happy with my list, if I understood the Roots deck better I would have swapped after day 1 but cauldron was still real nice.

Competitive format is awful to play at a competitive level, no bans because you can still play a variety of bad decks at lower levels.

Casual format has a handful of miserable decks that dominate when opponents are underprepared but they're exploitable in competitive settings.

Thinking about it more it's kinda weird that Modern (a competitive format with a Pro Tour coming up) and Legacy (a beloved casual format) both got no changes for the reasons the other one should be using.

I'm starting to think WOTC just believes Rest in Peace and Stony Silence are the most fun kinds of magic card, only way for me to understand these kinds of announcments.
