A black wooden bookmark in the shape of a pentagon arrow. The back-end of the arrow shape has an illustration of an egg and the front end of it has an illustration of an apple. The meaning: I made this bookmark based on the latin phrase "ab ovo usque ad mala" (or just "ab ovo ad mala") which, literally translated, means "from the eggs to the apples". But when used in literature, it means "from the beginning to the end" as the Romans would start their meals with eggs and end them with fruits like apples. I used this phrase on the bookmark to remind myself to try and read the book from beginning to end, and I'll use this for books that I end up interested in reading.

I made a cool bookmark, try to figure out the meaning of it!

(Hint: the drawing above is an egg and the one below is an apple, has something to do with the bookmark's shape itself. Answer is in the alt-text!)

Yesterday I read an SCP article whilst at the same time listening to a reading of a different one by The Exploring Series and ALSO actually alternating between the article and my copy of There Is No Antimemetics Division
