-getting high attack chains (usually it takes around 16-20 for me to get one) which has been a huge help in the later levels

I was real surprised by how smooth the controls are considering how negative a lot of the conversation is around its gameplay, it feels great to play esp once you level up some weapons. I also realized that using a faster weapon is good for farming health off of enemies as the orb drop is tied to-

combat is fluid and nowhere near as repetitive as i thought it would've been. dragon stages have been awesome so far. and the vibe is delicious.

Nier's lighting and colour does such a good job at projecting warmth. looks toasty as hell it's sensational

That first level is probsbly the worst about it too since your weapon isnt upgraded, so it rly is just 3 hit combo spam😭 im still not very far and theres been some annoying enemies but the repetition is the main thing I could see being an issue

Obviously its super repetitive and leveling up the weappns is gonna take ages but idk nothing abt it is offensive, its got more going on than I expected. The flight levels are fantastic too
