I realized last night that I am bad at crochet, as I cannot make consistent stitches, no matter how hard I try. But I persist! Fortunately, most things are forgiving and my family doesn't mind the wonky stuff I make. Knitting is much better for me.

I would just like to note that this is why I continue to pay for my husband's phone line. So I can have a spare phone to call my phone when I put it down somewhere and can't find it again.

Yesterday, after waiting 3 MONTHS for my (gas) fireplace to be fixed, the repair guy finished up, I paid and he left. 20 minutes later, I was all...the fan on the fireplace is not turning on. So I had to call him back to fix it again!

I love complaining! My life would be so boring if there were nothing to complain about! The trick is not to whine, but to frame it more as "can you believe this nonsense? Isn't it ridiculous?!"

With 3 single crochet in each corner stitch. It will turn out rectangular. Stop when you're happy with the size. My mom always started it for me, so this may not be exactly accurate, and now I just make it up as I go! I feel confident you could figure it out!

My go-to if I don't want to think about anything is to chain maybe 12-18", then single crochet for the first row, at the end, 3 single crochet in one stitch, and then single crochet along the other side of the original chain, 3 single crochet in the last stitch, and then keep going around...
