I just now put it together in my head that the Field museum is named after Marshall Field. I have a master’s degree. I just got 2nd place at trivia last night. I have lived in Chicago for 22 years. I thought it was like about nature.

I just can’t with these idiots.

It’s fine it was just kind of hysterical. Like we literally can’t use the prize because they made it so ridiculously hard to do so. When I realized it I almost just gave it back but decided to not be petty.

Oh I mean we got 2nd, not 3rd. We were in 3rd until the final question but ended up 2nd!

Like……..idc at all, but that is NOT how you do prizes at trivia. But what do I know, I only hosted brewery trivia for like 5 years.

My husband and I got 3rd place at trivia! We won a $20 gift card for the restaurant! That’s only good on trivia nights. And expires in one month. And they only do trivia every other week. So we have literally only 2 chances to use this gift card. And of course we can’t go to either date 😂

Broke into Opryland after it was closed. We were at the Opryland hotel for All-State in high school. Everything was wet too bc it rained. Totally could have fallen and done something really stupid. We had to climb over a very tall fence to get out. Somehow we never got caught!

I don’t remember literally a single thing from 2016. Have I blocked it completely from my memory? Who’s to say.

One was an engineer for UNIVAC. I actually don’t know what the other did. My mom was estranged from her father for most of her life and he died when I was young. I only remember seeing him a few times.

Yep! I thought we talked about it before but maybe not. John was a freshman my senior year.

After the sleep fog cleared a little, I turned on the TV in my room just in time to watch the second plane hit. I got ready for class and after we got there my prof cancelled class (as did everyone else that day). I went to my friend’s dorm and we watched the news in a daze the rest of the day.

My senior year of college, I was 21 (at TTU!) It was one of the only days that I finally didn’t have an 8 am class so I was asleep when the first plane hit. My best friend called me and told me what happened and I was initially mad at him for waking me up when I had a late class that day.
