Yes, I hated him at first.
It took me many years to like him - I think it was OK when he showed up on Voyager. 😁
And some of those kids, once grown up (not us), struggle when those stories, the characters change too much, because it feels like someone replaced their childhood teddy bear with another one.

It's a very good series, but I identified with one of the patients from Season 1, and unlike the way her storyline ended, things went much less well for my baby and me. ✨
