Loving this! But seriously, HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO PUMP OUT THESE PAGES SO FAST?! ITS PEHNOMENAL LIKE…? Like for me I get tired or burnt out some days trying to make my comic, or get stuck on what plot ideas to do. So how do you do it? What’s your secret? Also keep up the good work!

V, a blue robot letter “v” with a red tapered torso that has yellow lines shaped like that same letter. Their design overall is reminiscent of Alphabots (for those not in the know, Alphabots were basically like old toys that could transform from letters to robots and vice versa, like transformers but a bit different. Look it up sometime!) V over here is more specifically based on the letter v robot from the set, especially appearance-wise with their primary color palette. Doodles surround them depicting them in different situations.

Amazing art style also those humanized designs look so cool

After the galaxy slime with the creepy face emerged it turned humanoid (kinda like Slimey) but like some weird eldritch abomination with a void face and black butterfly or dragonfly-like wings. Basically Slimey went all super saiyan mode or whatever to level the playing field. It was a hard boss, and considered one that’s VERY hard in the dream, by many players, streamers, YouTubers, and general gaming. Like controller throwing levels of hard.

Here’s a great art rendition of Slimey I made yesterday! Used pencil, edited in the name. Overall I’m proud.

Shopkeeper guy named Jackquill (pronounced like Jack-will) who like sold slimes and items and stuff. He wore like red robes and was a shopkeeper jackal guy thing, no idea what my brain was cooking up but it’s interesting to say the least

Meme by another “fan” that was a name soundalike, another in-joke.

I remember in the game a main mechanic was that you could get slimes and equip them to get abilities, each slime with their own advantage and disadvantages. This concept art shows Slimey using an electric slime ability known as “jolt”. My brain is weird. I couldn’t come up with this sort of stuff AWAKE if I tried, maybe. Anyways there were like some wild slimes (kinda like Pokémon) where you had to fight some to get their ability as like a test of worthiness. There were other different enemies and bosses but I forgot a lot of them. Slimes could be bought in shops or found along the journey. (I think my subconscious got the design of Slimey from a clothes pile in my room I remember looking at that resembles them. When I remembered I drew Slimey to see if it’s how I remember from the dream. Dreams are weird I tell you.

I remember there was like a weird creepy scene in the game where you’d walk to like the edge of town or a weird part of town where everything loses color and distorts n stuff. There’d be this galaxy slime waiting for the player, and when it turned around, it had this creepy unnatural face instead of the normal slime face. It let out a horrifying laugh and turned into a puddle, and what emerged was crazy to say the least…

This is a recreation of cover art of the dream game. There are four slime characters, red, yellow, green, and a blue one. All are nearly identical except for the blue one who is much more humanoid, wearing a white shirt and tie, and has only a mouth as somewhat of an inversion to the other slimes having only eyes. It also has spiky slime “hair”. The green and yellow slimes are going flying, with the red one seemingly crashed into the camera, as shown by its cheek looking like it collided with something. When I finished the art the box art kinda gave me the vibes of a 3DS era game specifically, so I used 3ds box art elements, I’m pretty sure this was a 3DS game in the dream or something similar, and it was fairly well received, especially for its soundtrack. It was developed by a developer in the dream known as “Square One Studios.” The game was an rpg/jrpg I think

I remember this character Furknight (furnace + knight) quite vividly. I think he was like either an enemy or boss. As you can see, the rpg was very Undertale/Deltarune-like in design, no idea why.

In the dream I remembered this was a tumblr post about a “hear me out” on the main character Slimey. It went viral quickly and became a massive meme, sometimes with Slimey replaced by depictions of other characters

Skelly turnaround sprites plus a concept with description added Stylistically the sprites and everything overall are kinda inspired by Undertale/Deltarune, plus the Skelly dialogue portrait was kinda inspired by Persona I wanted a simple yet expressive look, and I think I achieved that right. Now of course this is just a concept, might look a bit different later on when (and if) I get the equipment to make the game a reality

REMEMBER THERE’S A MEAL AT THE END OF THE GAME! I had so much trouble with Spatty due to the complex design. To fit the resolution, I had to take some shortcuts, like putting Spatty’s bazooka(?) on the back. He also has his white outline to stay true to the original.

“HEY PUNCHY, THIS AIN’T NO GAME, I’M SPAMXYBUSTER AND I’M REALLY ASHAMED” Spamxy was probably the easiest one of all. It was hard to get his face right with the resolution though.

Krip was honestly fun to design, however due to getting head details in, the rest of their body is a bit compressed. Then again, I’d say I did well, and they look pretty accurate.

Oh boy, Max H.L. It was kinda hard to get his “tall-ness” (I guess) right with the whole sprite resolution, however I’d say I did good. I overall tried making him as accurate as possible, like with the monochromatic color palette and stuff.
