Don’t need to be rich, don’t even have had to live in the US as an adult. US rules make it hard to be a dual citizen abroad.

It is possible, but neither cheap nor easy. I bet there is a much larger contingent that wants to but can’t, than has done so successfully.

That are dual citizens abroad that would celebrate the passing of this bill if it meant a shortcut to no longer being a US citizen.

It’s a matter of trade offs, but depending where you live and where you work, you really don’t need a car. I’m so happy to live in a major town/city centre.
If you can afford to live in a city centre, then you can survive without owning a car.
