If you want people to vote your way, you’ve gotta convince them. And every time you get your back up or hair up your ass about how you shouldn’t have to convince people you are putting your emotions and your ego ahead of the work.

Now is the time to be exploring candidates, to be pushing your preferred candidate to address areas where people are critiquing them, and to be thoughtful about what you want from a candidate. Not to start bullying people who critique the one guy with the hair that everybody likes right now.

Also, people need to stop acting like this sentiment is the same as telling people not to vote. The fact that you are trapped in the idea that you must vote for this one person or else not vote at all is your limitation especially when there isn’t even a candidate yet.

What happens to you guys when you lose everything, including all of your vital documents, in a flood or a fire (something that’s pretty common in this country depending on where you) and you move so you have to re-register to vote? 

I have seen so many people in the US who forgot that they already provided ID when they registered to vote and somehow missed that when the government wants to pass a redundant law, it’s usually to take away your freedom.

there is no constituency that needs you to fall all over yourself to call Maduro illegitimate before you dare criticize Trump. Voters have been down this road before. No one thought Saddam Hussein was a nice guy. Criticism of Maduro at this stage correctly reads as a defense of Trump to most people.

That has not been my experience at all. The people I see constantly calling for impeachment, regardless of what they’re saying about Democrats who are or are not talking about it, have all been boomers or older Gen X and define themselves as liberal or progressive.
