The mother eagle flew over us with her the food in her talons to bring to the baby in the nest. 🪹 🦅 Such a good mommy. The dad bald eagle watched from the tree branch. Here is a photo of the nest (no baby visible here but still cool to see). And the dad.

Of all of the seashells, both rare and common, nothing ever makes me smile quite like the humble Kitten Paw in a vibrant orange shade.

Rose murex I found today. Vokesimurex rubidus, common name : the rose murex, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.

Haven’t been able to find that elusive junonia shell, but I did find a nice Rose Murex specimen today! 🐚 🏝️

My husband just showed me that in 2019 she skated to my song "Don't Rain on My Parade". I'm so proud of her. I heard that she is half Chinese. My second family in Brooklyn that lived above us was a Chinese family called the Choys. I worked in their Chinese restaurant since I was 12 years old and also baby sat for their children. She was like a second mother to me.
