you can replace other doorknobs with cool antique ones! esp bc frequently on other antique furniture the knobs tend to be a break point, so getting extras is always handy

yeah it just felt... i don't know. really invasive? like i know i technically put it out in the open, but it wasn't meant for the general public. it was WAY too much when i was already feeling kind of overwhelmed with grief. i feel a little bad for being so against it, but it just felt inappropriate

temeraire was a hard sell bc it was written in the historical voice and laurence was so dreadfully a cop in the beginning (that man was just victorian dragon rider kunikida), but i enjoyed it by the end

fact about me that surprises people: i hate most period pieces and it's a hard sell to get me to engage w anything victorian era that isn't also genre fiction in some way. jane austen, bridgerton, etc: nah
