We need to tax gas companies properly so the Australian people get a fair share of our resources.

Beer, spirits, and tobacco tax all raise more revenue than the Petroleum Resources Rent Tax.

Listen to your children read. Read to your children. Read alongside your children. Take them to libraries. Talk about what reading means to you & what it can unlock.
Tell them it doesn’t matter if it’s comics, magazines or books as long as they’re engaged with the written word. #WorldBookDay

The bottom 90% have got just 7% of economic growth from 2009 to 2019. The top 10% got 93%.

Our research shows inequality has been supercharged in the last 20 years, and it will only get worse unless we fix it.

We all library differently.
There are so many amazing things our public libraries provide.
I library by taking my daughter's to the library and hanging in the children's section, playing games, doing craft, and choosing books.
Then I head to pick out my own downtime fantasy read.

In Australia, it's legal to lie in a political ad.

In the next few months, we will endure another federal election campaign with unfiltered exposure to lies and disinformation, UNLESS the Government passes truth in political advertising laws, which 87% of Australians support.

Let's get it done!

We don't need nuclear power - the path to cheaper electricity is renewables The last thing Australia energy market needs is nuclear power. The data is clear - more renewables will lead to cheaper electricity.

Saying it again. Nuclear is the most expensive form of energy we could have. Those pushing the conversation on it, are using it to distract from the rollout of the cheapest, cleanest energy form: renewables. #auspol

This is a thread about book banning. Right now, today, books are being pulled from shelves in libraries and classrooms, some by direct order, some in fear of what's coming. This is *exactly* what Project 2025 said was going to happen. Make no mistake: this is not about books; it's about people. 1/8
