A meadow of Garry Oak trees planted closely together. The leaves are turning and fill the sky with autumnal tones. Bramble lines the meadow floor. The skinny branches of the oaks causes a feeling of movment.

I’m not sure it’s that simple. The little man isn’t technically “refusing,” he’s hiding behind “standard practice” since the House is out of session. It’s going to take immense pressure to move him, and it’s unlikely much of it will come from Republicans. IMO, he’s guilty of dereliction of duty.

Oh, I’d thought she was at your house. She looks so sweet.

This is silkie, a totally black female feral cat with green eyes who has been at our senior cat sanctuary for about 3 years. She always hid away and hated people but now she tolerates us and doesn't run. She doesn't like pats, but she settled in well to a room with two other ferals and two very laid-back older cats and they all tolerate each other well.

This is Silky, one of the ferals I mentioned who has really warmed up to living inside & tolerating people. She's been with us about 3 years & the last year has really come out of her shell. She's just beautiful & tolerated me getting very close for a picture with no issues.

So, does that mean that she has taken possession of your home and its residents? It sounds like she’s no feral cat no more.
