Years ago, I got experimental and created these 3D models. The idea was to create an ambient landscape that evolved over time. After an oily rain, a robot desert with metal sunflowers blooms to life. Will post a clip of the Animation later.

We wanted to explore non-photorealistic rendering for this film. We're still finalizing our aesthetic, but we've had fun bringing this character into 3D and trying to add some visual grit into the renders. We're trying out a toon shader and experimenting with 2D drawovers.
