I’ve been wanting to write a fic where it’s Izzy pining for Jack and doesn’t know how to make it happen. Maybe this is the catalyst.

AU where Jack randomly shaves off his moustache (for charity?) and Izzy, who’s never given Jack a second glance is suddenly down SO BAD for a clean shaven or mildly stubbled Jack.

Jack’s like “hm I’m thinking about not growing it back” and Izzy is twisting up in knots, rubbing his thighs together.

I love the idea of him dramatically revealing himself one day only for the crew to be like “oh youre finally ready to come out huh?” He is totally bamboozled, angry, a bit relieved. The crew have had a while to accept that he’s just one of them now but it takes him longer, like a feral cat.
