Meet Sally - a puppy recently rescued from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Poor puppy had a broken leg when we rescued her, and after it looked like it was healing well, she developed a limp. Unfortunately her leg was more damaged than originally thought and needed a big surgery for a puppy!

After being left behind, a caring neighbor connected Rocky with an SVPP community member now serving as his “coach.” With Team Rocky in his corner, this 2½-year-old is training for his biggest win yet — a forever home.

Gucci had a rough morning the other day. He was examined by our veterinary friends at Animal Eye Specialists, and he got his last Leptospirosis vaccine. That is a lot for a little boy, and he wanted to make sure his foster mom knew the struggle and what he really needed 🤣

🎶Hey There, Delilah—You’re Finally Home Tonight🎶6-years after being adopted, Delilah returned to the shelter with multiple masses. A foster stepped up to help a Final senior dog—and instantly fell in love. With VCA Blossom Hill’s help, we learned her prognosis is good. Now, Delilah is home for good!

The Bay Area may not boast New England’s fall colors but, we’ve got Maple, the sweetest sign of autumn in the Bay! After being marked “Final”, her volunteer friends & SJ Animal Advocates refused to let her story end there. Now, with loving fosters, she’s turning a new leaf & showing her true colors.

Not only do our fosters find comfort and care when they come to SVPP, sometimes they also find a new friend! Puppies Harley and Lila love attending events together where they get to play and share sweet moments.
