Today I think of Liam Ramos, age 5. Abducted by ICE on his way home from pre school, in a hat that I’m sure made him smile when he looked in the mirror. Held hostage by his backpack, too big for his frame. A little boy who probably just learned how to spell his name.

Bob, why didn’t you talk to me?

Yes, it is helpful, it’s a little awkward at first, but ergonomically feels better to work on while drawing on the couch.

I need #kidlit help with something very silly I’ve been working on. Give me all the picture book character names that you can remember. For example: Madeline, Olivia, Mother Bruce. Classics and contemporary.

Out fishing in Kasilof today and some kid walks by and says:

Kid: “You know… you look like Steve.”

Me: “Steve who?”

Kid: “You know, Steve… from Minecraft”

I mean… sure? Maybe?

Couldn't agree with this more. Their was an arc years ago where a lot of the heroes went back to the day to day street level fights and it was so refreshing.
