The wave of violent anti-semitism around the world does nothing, absolutely nothing, except to strengthen the messianical fundamentalist fascist right in Israel and deepen the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza and throughout the historical boundaries of Palestine/Israel.

Netanyahu & his whole cabinet should be arrested & dragged before an international tribunal for war crimes. But that’s not going to happen. The only way he is getting replaced is if he is voted out of office. Or convicted in his corruption trial, which will also probably never happen.

Even if you don’t agree that the Jews have any claim to this land, terrorist attacks and the murder of civilians can never be justified. The ends can never justify the means.

This doesn’t give us the right to displace the other indigenous people living in this land. Both sides have made mistakes. Both sides have refused to accept the other as valid and authentic heirs to the land. That has resulted in terrible crimes against innocent civilians committed by both sides.

We have a vibrant art scene, with dance & theatre companies that perform around the world, with internationally recognized writers ,visual artists & musicians. We didn’t chose to settle in Israel/Palestine by throwing a dart at the map. We believe this is our homeland and we are indigenous people.

I oppose apartheid, ethnic cleansing, war crimes, crimes against humanity.
However I also oppose suicide. Israelis have been building a modern society in this land for over a hundred and fifty years.
