Zuck apparently saying that companies need more masculinity is hilarious, considering there is about zero healthy feminine influence in most companies, certainly not in the tech world. Any attempts that have been made have been performative, so of course it doesn’t work.

As a millennial with boomer parents and a daughter myself, I agree with you. Today’s expectations are why parents are so burnt out! Idk why so many people are defending it.

Personally I’m not a big Boston Rob fan. But I am excited to watch him and Tony (mostly excited to watch Tony) on Traitors next month, which is my favorite reality show!

It does have this. I paused for a post about gaming and now I see so many posts about gaming and I’m not a gamer. 😅 But I get that’s just how the algorithm works. I know you don’t have to use Discover but I’m still trying to find more people to follow!

Annoying that we have to go through this period of everything getting massively worse because companies rushed into using AI without knowing what they were really doing with it.

If you’re wondering how much more emotional I’ve gotten since becoming a mom, I cried at a Ziploc commercial today.

If we really want change, we have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable, and be willing to make sacrifices that inconvenience us. We cannot keep complaining about the toxic cycle that we’re actively feeding with our own actions, just because it’s easier. We have to do hard things.

Yeah I wasn’t that impressed by Parvati in her first season. She wouldn’t be a legend if she never played again. Same with a lot of them. I’d like to see the new eras get a chance to play again too.

Having watched almost all of the seasons for the first time in 8 months, my unpopular opinion is that new era players are just much better players. Old era winners played with much weaker players so they didn’t have to be as good. And in 40, they didn’t do as well. 🤷‍♀️

I started watching Survivor for the first time this year during my maternity leave. I’ve watched almost every season in 8 months, just finished 43!

Millennials hustled our way through the 2010s just to be reminded by the media that we were entitled and destroying everything, and now we’re writing articles about the next generation like “60% of Gen Z are getting fired from their jobs — here’s why that’s a good thing.”

Yay! I’ve been here for awhile, but never posted because I couldn’t find any friends. I’m glad the crowd is growing over here!
