It’s a meaningful article, but the focus on Republicans around courage conveys a profound blind spot.

The call for solidarity being needed is correct. But there should be no need for catastrophic losses if elitists open the Overton Window to systems change.

Each of these cases are canaries in the coal mine. This is not about politics, it's about protecting our foundational rights under the U.S. and Virginia Constitutions as the federal government's violations grow crueler and closer.
